Who we are

Life in St Ives is a community-led research project being developed by the St Ives Community Land Trust. We are grateful for support from UKRI who are funding the project.

Managing your data

When visitors online communicate with us through any forms we use, we collect the data shown in the questions fields and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

GDPR

In line with national requirements and GDPR, data ‘should be kept intact for any legally specified period and otherwise for three years at least, subject to any legal, ethical or other requirements’, from the end of the project. We will retain data and maintain its integrity until the legal/administrative purpose for its use has been fulfilled. Cookies

Cookies used are the minimum embedded in a basic Wordpess installation, which is how this site has been created.

Embedded content from other websites

Content on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Sharing data

We will not share your data with any party.

What rights you have over your data

By participating in this project, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Where your data is stored and sent

Content provided to us via Google Forms content (which hosts our Get Involved survey) may be checked through an automated spam detection service. It will be securely stored by Google via Google spreadsheets with Visceral Business Ltd acting as the data processor for the duration of data compliance time required.
